In the 8th century Berber tribes from North Africa invaded the Iberian Peninsula bringing with them the geometric pattern of their Muslim heritage. Made from a blend of natural sheep wool and cotton, this wonderfully chunky, contemporary shaggy rug beautifully incorporates the geometric pattern of the Berber tribes and is perfectly finished with plaited tassels. The GoodWeave label on this rug gives the best assurance that no child labour was used in the making of your rug. Namaste and our rug suppliers both contribute a % of the value of the rugs purchased to GoodWeave which then goes back into the communities where the rugs are made!
